Lauren is originally from southern California and attended high school in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. While completing her undergrad at Fitchburg State University, Lauren worked for a number of years as a bartender and restaurant manager in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Before going to law school, Lauren gained valuable experience working as a legal assistant, managing criminal, civil, personal injury, and family law matters for 2.5 years.
Lauren graduated from New England Law | Boston, where most of her courses were centered around family law and estate planning. Now living on the Seacoast, Lauren is admitted to practice law in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Lauren spends most of her time at MacDonald Law focused on complex, contentious, and high-net-worth family law matters.
Lauren's diligent, no-nonsense approach provides for effective and efficient representation, even in the most challenging of cases. She strives to support her clients with compassionate and non-judgmental guidance through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
In her personal life, Lauren is a proud full-time stepmom and advocate for a very rowdy middle schooler. Navigating an atypical family life herself, Lauren is all too familiar with the challenges inherent in a blended family dynamic. Lauren enjoys the great outdoors as often as she can, usually with her husband, stepson, Boxer, and Pitbull in tow.
Lauren enjoys reading historical fiction as a member and co-founder of Random Book Club on the Seacoast. If she isn't reading at a local coffee shop, Lauren can usually be found with a surfboard at Sawyer's Beach or a snowboard at Bretton Woods. Lauren is also a member of the Seacoast Women's Giving Circle, volunteering her time and resources for causes local to the Seacoast area.
