Condominium Law
At MacDonald Law, PC, our Condominium Law practice is dedicated to helping condominium associations, boards of directors, property managers, and developers navigate the unique legal and operational challenges that come with condominium ownership and governance.
What Is Condominium Law?
Condominium law governs the creation, management, and operation of condominium communities. It includes the drafting and interpretation of governing documents such as declarations, bylaws, and rules and regulations, as well as compliance with New Hampshire statutes.
Because condominium associations are run by volunteer board members, navigating these responsibilities can quickly become complex. From financial management and rule enforcement to dispute resolution and governance procedures, having experienced legal guidance is essential to ensuring smooth and effective operations.
How We Help
Our Condominium Law practice provides comprehensive legal support tailored to the needs of associations both large and small. Our services include:
- Drafting and amending condominium documents
- Advising boards of directors on governance and compliance
- Enforcement of rules, bylaws, and covenants
- Collection of unpaid condominium fees
- Representation in litigation and court proceedings
- Guidance on meetings, voting procedures, and digital governance
- Developer representation from project inception through transition to owner control
- Dispute resolution and mediation
While some matters require litigation, most condominium issues can be resolved efficiently outside of court. We work with our clients to find practical, cost-effective solutions whenever possible.
