
Marysol is an Associate Attorney helping clients navigate complex divorce, parenting, guardianship, and other family law matters. She hails from two hometowns - Canterbury, New Hampshire and Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. Marysol received her BA from Bowdoin College in 2017 with a focus in Government and Legal studies, Anthropology, and Arabic. Marysol relocated to San Francisco after college where she worked at a healthcare tech start-up and volunteered at Bay Area Legal Aid in the Domestic Violence Unit. In 2020, Marysol was accepted to Vermont Law School and named a Vermont Scholar and a Social Justice Mission Scholar for her dedication to improving access to legal services for children and families facing domestic violence. After law school, Marysol accepted a Law and Policy Clerkship with the State of Vermont's Office of the Child, Youth, and Family Advocate. Her work primarily focused on family law and child welfare court reform, foster youth, and youth homelessness. Following her clerkship, Marysol was the Assistant Director at KidSafe Collaborative in Burlington, VT where she helped facilitate statewide child protection meetings. Marysol comes to Macdonald Law with a fierce passion for improving the experiences and outcomes for families navigating child welfare and family courts. On the weekends, you can find her split boarding, mountain biking, gardening, and tending to her flock of heritage hens.
